The name "Nassauer Haus" is a common name for a corner house of the 19th century and is based on an erroneous reference to King Adolf von Nassau, who lived in the 15th century. Nassauer Haus is one of the surviving medieval tower houses of the city nobility, the foundation date of which, unfortunately, no information left. The two lower floors were supposedly built at the beginning of the XIII century, in 1422-1433. the upper floors appeared with a bay window and four eight-sided corner towers. Presumably it was here that the headquarters of the ministers was located. Since 1581, the house was in the possession of the Schlusselfelder family, and after the extinction of the clan in 1709, a charitable institution was located here. The somewhat warlike appearance of the building serves only decorative purposes
