PREDIGER HOUSERS on the Kannonierstraße (now Glinkastraße), corner of Tabenstraße, in a photography by F. Albert Schwartz from 1888. In the house, Friedrich Daniel Ernst Schleiermacher (1768-1834), German Protestant theologian, old philologist, philosopher, publicist, state theorist, lived Church politician and educator, who, in addition to his work at the Dreifaltigkeitkirche (1808-1834), was a co-founder of the Berlin University and the first theological dean. The parish hall of the Evangelical Community in Friedrichstadt (the S.G. Schleiermacher-Haus) in Berlin is now a memorial plaque to Daniel Friedrich Schleiermacher.
