The Quad at Whittier shopping mall, located at 13502 Whittier Boulevard view is looking west. Visible streets are Whittier Boulevard (bottom middle to top right corner) Laurel Avenue (middle left to lower center) and Painter Avenue (slightly diagonally at upper center). Photograph dated August 6, 1957.The Quad at Whittier shopping mall was built in 1953 and expanded in 1965. After being destroyed by an earthquake in 1987, it was rebuilt as a strip mall.
