A two-tier bridge across the Nusel Valley, 485 meters long and 26 meters wide, with metro trains running in the lower tier, was built in 1965-1973. and was named at the grand opening on February 25, 1974, by the name of Clement Gottwald. The final project was drawn up by architects Stanislav Gubitschek and Vojtech Michale-com.
