Photo of a white adobe located at Main and Carr streets (now 14th Place), between 14th St. and Pico. The layout of the home is that of an inverted "U", with doors on the left and right portions of the house, and a covered porch or patio in the middle numerous pepper trees surround the home. This was said to have been General Freman's headquarters at one time, and many years later, it was the "Yee Hing Laundry", a Chinese laundry. At the time this photograph was taken, a "For Sale" sign was posted at the front of the structure (barely visible).
