Exterior view of the two buildings used by the Hyde Park Congregational Church, located at 65th and Crenshaw. The first church building, seen on the far right, was dedicated in 1901, after land for a church was generously given by Capt. and Mrs. Fred B. Clark in memory of their daughter. While the church was declared a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Landmark in 1963, it was demolished approximately a year later. A new church facility opened on this site in 1965.
