The house at 88 High Street in Belfast, Maine, located near the corner of High and Pearl Streets. In the 1880s, it was the home of photographer Edward N. Wight. Wight specialized in views of Belfast and photo portraits of children and old people. Belfast merchant William McIntosh and his family next lived in the house. For many years it was the home of Jake and Ruth Lawless and their son, Gary. Jake was a well-known Belfast police officer and Gary is a poet and owner of Gulf of Maine Books in Brunswick.
