Monastery Varzakhan, XI century Monastery complex in the historical province of High Bardz Ayk. It is located near the city of Baberd. Varzakhan was a large village of Armenians, a large part of whose population was destroyed by Ottomans in the XVIII century. Scene between the 1920s and the mid-1950s.
