Tashkent. Hotel "Uzbekistan". In the architectural ensemble of the central part of Tashkent, a 17-story building of the Uzbekistan Hotel, located near the October Revolution Square, consists of two parts-a high-rise building, in which rooms for 930 places are equipped and adjacent to it of a two-story building , with a restaurant, a banquet hall, a cafe. The courtyard of the water surface of the pool with the fountains is a teahouse. The interiors of the hotel complex are interesting. The theme of painting is the emblematic pictures of the traditional life of Uzbeks. In the decoration of the building, valuable varieties of marble, granite, halls are used to decorate the carvings on the dumb, wood, and chasing. The hotel houses Soviet and foreign delegations, participants in meetings, symposia, congresses, tourists. The Roadfeter was built in 1974. The authors of the project are architects I. Merport, L.
