The view from the roof of 7th St. looking west from Broadway. On the near left is the Smith's Hotel (rounded top on the corner). Farther down the street on the left are other businesses such as Wetherby-Kayser Shoe Co., Ville de Paris, Barlett Music Co. and New York Store. By 1921 the Loew's State Theater opened on the SW corner, replacing Smith's Hotel.
