Concert stage in the middle of the park Vingis was built in 1960, designed by the Estonian architect Alar Kotli. Binding of the project to local conditions is made by the Lithuanian architect Rimvydas Jon Alekna. There were songs and tested Republican holidays. August 23, 1988 on the anniversary of the signing of the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact in an area near the stage passed the most massive rally socio-political organization "Sąjūdis". September 5, 1993 is celebrated Mass Pope John Paul II.
