The temple was built by order of petronia about 15 g. BC. During the reign of the emperor of August. Isis and Osiris is dedicated, as well as two deified sons of the local Nubian leader, Pediz ("The one who Isis Dala") and Pikhora ("He who owns the mountain"). In the 1960s, the temple was postponed from his initial location and transferred to the Metropolitan Museum in New York (USA), where he is set since 1978.
