"In 1687 the Dorotheenstädtische Church was inaugurated as the first new church building of the Berlin Protestants on the property between Mittelstraße (left), Neustädtische Kirchstraße (right) and Dorotheenstrasse. APSIS is named after the Elector Dorothea, the wife Friedrich Wilhelms. From 1861, the architects Habelt, Otto and Hoffmann, will be completely renovated by the parish church. By the end of 1863, a cross -shaped brick basilica in the classical style of the Schinkeln Ruin of the church, which was badly damaged in 1943 and 1944, was removed in 1968, the cemetery was leveled in favor of a parking space.
