Vienna
Vienna is one of the largest museums in Austria, as well as one of the most important museums in the world. It was opened in 1889 at the same time as the Museum of Art History located opposite it. The Museum of Natural History was built to host huge collections of Habsburg nature exhibits. Famous and unique exhibits, such as the Venus of Willendorf, the Schiner collection of the diplodocus skeleton, and plants and animals that died out 200 years ago, such as the Steller’s cow, are presented in 39 halls .Date 25 May 1931.
