The view of the Hofoffizantenhaus, which is renewed in the last years of Frederick II and is used to accommodate Hofchargen - and their servants, opens up on barges and fish boxes in the Spree. Behind it is the upper front of the castle pharmacy. It borders on the expansion with the private rooms of the large elector on the second floor. The fish boxes were removed in 1885 when the Kavalierbrücke, the predecessor building of the Kaiser Wilhelm Bridge (since 1969 Karl-Liebknecht-Brücke).
