Bleecker Street, northeast side, north from Seventh Avenue South. The aged buildings appearing in the foreground are No's. 305-7 (a double house) and 309. The latter is the Thomas Paine home of 1808-9. At that date this thoroughfare was known as Herring Street and had just been opened. Sept. 26, 1928
