The present church was built according to the original in the same look and certainly using the original building materials and original features. Also, the device was transferred to the church. The original church was commissioned during 1723 - 1728 by Count Jerome Joseph Wallenstein on the site of a medieval shrine. The church was facing rectangular building with a boat and indented three sided ended presbytery. Facades were divided lizénovými frames and rectangular, segmental arched windows. On the west side was built tower, in a projecting bay front edge of the front. Under the whole original village was located bearing lignite. Already in the late 18th century began mining community was gradually liquidated and the late 19th century, the construction of the new village near zabrušanského settlement and in 1910 the construction of a copy zabrušanského church.
