Aviation Boulevard is vertically bottom left corner to top left Arbor Vitae runs horizontally at forefront Isis Avenue is vertically up middle Hindry Avenue is at upper right corner Hillcrest Boulevard is horizontally just above center the Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe Railway tracks are middle left and curve toward top right corner. Northrup Institute was founded in 1942 by John K. Northrup and James L. McKinley as Northrup Aeronautical Institute. It was just called Northrup Institute by the time this photograph was taken.
