Crescent Way is vertically at left, bending just below the 5 freeway, and paralleling it to top right Muller Street starts at middle left, and runs diagonally to middle right the Santa Ana (5) Freeway is diagonally middle left to top right Broadway Department Store is on opposite side of the freeway, in the distance (upper right). The $2,500,000. research and development center of the Richfield Oil Corp. was built on a 20-acre site adjacent to the Santa Ana Freeway at the west edge of Anaheim, and opened on October 23, 1956. It comprises a laboratory building, administration building, pilot plant, engine laboratory building, shops and a warehouse building.
