Exterior view of Simpson Methodist Episcopal Church, located at 734 S. Hope Street. Various residences surround the church on both sides. This large brick church was constructed in the late 1880s. After serving as a Methodist church for years, it was sold and became the Third Church of Christ, Scientist.
