A man walks past the exterior of the Romanesque Revival style First African Methodist Episcopal Zion Cathedral and its adjoining Community Center, located at 1449 W. Adams Boulevard. A bi-lingual sign in English and Spanish advertises "mufflers/mofles" outside the church in the foreground. Photograph dated: March 17, 1993. Built in 1930, the First A.M.E. Zion Cathedral was originally known as the West Adams Presbyterian Church.
