Looking southwest across Grand Avenue and 1st Street from the 9th floor of the Los Angeles County Courthouse (later renamed the Stanley Mosk Courthouse). Seen are boardinghouses, office buildings and various commercial structures. On the northwest corner of the intersection, right, is the future site of the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion.
