Exterior of Madame Wong's West rock club, formerly the Fox and Hounds restaurant, located in a Tudor revival structure at 2900 Wilshire Boulevard in Santa Monica. Above the entrance sign, there is a green "Grand Opening" banner and the storefront on the left is occupied by a stationery store. In June of 1978, the popular Fox and Hounds was closed, sold, and then purchased to become the nightclub. The venue closed in 1991 and was later demolished and replaced with a commercial building.
