Angel's Flight has not yet been built.Designed by architect John Hall and erected in 1886, the ornate residence was built at a cost of $45,000 for Mrs. Margaret E. Crocker, widow of Edwin Bryant Crocker, a California Supreme Court Justice. Later is was called the Crocker Mansion Rooming House and became the site of the Elks Club, and finally the Moose Lodge.
