Again Leidseplein, from Leidseestraat Leidseplein (“Leiden Square”), together with Dam Square, Rembrandt Square - one of the most famous squares in the city of Amsterdam, known as a place of entertainment and nightlife in the center of the capital of the Netherlands. Located in the southwest of the city center, it received its name comes from Leidsepoort, a huge city gate, demolished in 1862, along the road connecting the capital with Leiden.
