Vatican. Pinya's courtyard. An antique pedestal of Emperor Antoninus Pius behind an ancient bronze cone. The imperial troops of the 2nd century are depicted on the sides (in the central part the emperor himself and his wife are depicted), also in memory of Antonin, the Temple of Antoninus and Faustina was preserved in the Forum. The pedestal was moved here in 1885 from the center of the courtyard, replacing Column of Concord with the statue of St. Peter. Later (after 1903, perhaps in the 1930s, when the column was removed), the pedestal was removed from Shishka. Now it stands in the courtyard at the entrance to the Vatican Museums
